We started off this Fall season by completing our series going through the epistles of John. The 13 week series of messages can be heard on the church’s Spotify page at spotify.com. Just search “Northwood Community Bible Church to hear all of our sermons on demand.
Following the series on John’s letters, we took a pause to address the sad but significant event of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In this message, I shared the compelling correlation I see between the life and testimony of the Church’s first martyr, Stephen, and the life and testimony of Charlie Kirk. If you haven’t had the opportunity to listen, I invite you to check it out in the link below:
We also had a special guest, Robert Canen from the Glendive Dinosaur Museum, who came to address the topic of the importance of our worldview. Both our regular Sunday morning service and a special evening service were well attended, and it was a pleasure to see many friends from other churches and from the community come to listen to what he had to say.
CURRENTLY…
We are beginning a five-part series on the Mission of the Church. As we approach our annual Fall Harvest Festival, it’s time for us to remember why we exist as a church. We are called to be ambassadors of the kingdom of Jesus, and to share the good news of the Gospel with the people around us. We are getting ready to hear from Aaron Robinson, one of our missionaries in France, on October 26, which is the date of the Harvest Festival. I hope to equip and encourage individuals and families to be mindful of the call to proclaim the Good News and to make disciples that we might grow the kingdom of Jesus!
